But now you can find your voice during 5 days with the French House Party and our partners The Courage to Sing. It doesn’t matter if you want to sing on your own, in a group, for self-development or simply for fun, our course will suit all ages and abilities.

Joining forces with a company which has been operating singing courses in the UK for 10 years is another exciting first for us and also for The Courage to Sing’s founder, international singer-songwriter Lorrayn de Peyer, who will be your tutor.

Lorrayn will help train your voice by using traditional breathing, relaxation and vocal techniques. You’ll also learn how to control the power, range and volume of your voice, as well as explore a variety of musical styles from pop and gospel to jazz and classical. You don’t have to know how to read music, hold a tune or even keep rhythm.

As an added bonus, our break coincides with Carcassonne’s Festival de la Cité, a month-long musical extravaganza which takes place every July and features international musical performers and stars. Our price includes tickets to one of the evening events – a unique opportunity to see live music in the open-air amphitheatre at the heart of this atmospheric medieval walled city.
